Ebro river spots. Family route

The former Tortosa slaughterhouse is the starting and end point of the route and it is about 15 km.
Tour around Bítem, passing by Bítem pier and the island of Audí.
Family route with some pieces of road that goes parallel to the channel. So, this route is recommended for children of 11 years and over. Take caution while riding.

The former Tortosa slaughterhouse is the starting and end point of the route. This family route goes up to Bítem. You will cycle on the road during the first part of the route. Currently there are expansion works on this road. Once you get to Bítem, turn on the first street on the left that goes down a little bit. 10 meters ahead, turn right and follow the path that crosses orange fields.
Then, head to the channel to turn left and get closer to Bítem pier. The view of the Ebro River here is overwhelming. 



 

Go back to the channel and from there turn right to Tortosa. Once on the road, turn right and in about 500 meters go to the right on the dirt road that goes down to the river and the island of Audí. If the path is dry you can enjoy the interior of its riverbank forest.
Go back to the road and continue until the Capella dels Reis and the Horta de Pimpí orchards. Keep going until the starting point of the route.
You ride on the road in part of this family route. Recommended route for families with children over 10 years of age. Use caution while riding on the road and next to the channel.
